The Welshman continued his outstanding return to the competition with a hat-trick of wins at the Motorpoint Arena, defeating Michael van Gerwen, Stephen Bunting and Luke Humphries to claim his second nightly title of the season and the £10,000 bonus.

Clayton followed with his impressive victory against Van Gerwen, while Humphries secured a hard-earned 6–4 win over Van Veen.

The final quarter-final produced one of the matches of the night, as Littler edged past Price 6–5. The world number one averaged 108.66 and landed ten 180s to overcome spectacular 151 and 152 checkouts from the Welshman.

Clayton’s strong form continued in the semi-finals with another composed display.

Humphries produced a superb performance in the other semi-final, edging past Littler in a high-quality encounter between the world’s top two. The reigning champion averaged almost 106 and delivered crucial 130 and 128 checkouts late in the contest to progress.

The final saw Clayton produce one of the most dominant performances of the night.

Humphries briefly halted Clayton’s fast start with a superb 121 checkout on the bull to reduce the deficit early on, but Clayton immediately responded with a stunning 146 finish to surge into a 4–1 lead.

That moment proved decisive.

Clayton followed with a composed 14-dart hold to move within one leg of victory before sealing the title after Humphries missed four darts at double to extend the contest.

The victory extends Clayton’s lead at the top of the Premier League table as the competition approaches its halfway stage.
