In true Red Dragon fashion, this was about finding a way.
The Welshman battled past Luke Humphries, Josh Rock and Michael van Gerwen with a performance built on heart, timing and relentless belief.
Clayton’s night started with drama , surviving a match dart against Humphries before pinning a fearless 84 on the bull to edge through 6–5.
He then turned the tables on Rock with a composed 6–4 win, controlling the key moments to reach the final.
Then came the real test.
Despite a blistering 140 checkout early on, Clayton found himself 5–2 down against Van Gerwen. Most would have folded.
Clayton didn’t.
Four match darts survived. One ice-cold 84 on the bull to level. Game on.
From there, he was clinical – a sharp 12-darter sealing a remarkable comeback.

The opening round in Brighton set the tone for a fiercely competitive night, with every match carrying real weight in the race for the top four. Clayton edged past Humphries in a high-quality deciding-leg battle, holding his nerve brilliantly to punish a missed opportunity and snatch victory at the death.
Rock continued his strong run of form with an assured 6–3 win over Price, combining confident scoring with timely finishing to halt the Welshman’s momentum. Bunting capitalised on a rare dip from Littler, producing a composed display to secure a 6–4 victory, while Van Gerwen delivered a professional performance against Van Veen, controlling the key moments to move safely into the semi-finals.

With a place in the final on the line, the intensity stepped up another level. Clayton produced a measured and disciplined performance to overcome Rock 6–4, managing the pace of the game and striking at the right moments to stay in control throughout.
In contrast, the second semi-final was a full-blooded battle. Van Gerwen and Bunting traded blows in a high-pressure contest that went all the way, with the Dutchman just edging the decider to secure his fourth final appearance of the campaign and continue his push towards the Play-Off places.
