Following triumphs in Cardiff and Dublin, the world number one delivered another statement performance at the Uber Arena, overcoming Stephen Bunting, Gerwyn Price and Michael van Gerwen to take control of the league standings.

Littler opened his campaign with a high-quality display against Bunting.

Van Gerwen responded with three consecutive legs to level at 3–3, shifting the momentum in a high-quality contest.

But Littler responded decisively.

A superb 170 checkout restored his advantage at 5–3, before Van Gerwen broke back to extend the match. With the pressure building, Littler produced another moment of brilliance, landing a second 170 to seal a 6–4 victory in style.

“I think this is definitely the best I’ve played over a night,” admitted Littler, who averaged 106.36 in the final.

“I knew if I won the night I would go top, but you’ve just got to take it game by game.

“Obviously I won in Cardiff and Dublin, but this tops it. I played very well tonight.”
